Spain, Spanish State. A Commemorative Plate to Francisco Franco from the Merchants and Industrialists Circle of Ferrol

Constructed of solid silver, the obverse featuring an engraved dedication to Franco from the Circulo Mercantil e Industrial de Ferrol (Merchants and Industrialists Circle of Ferrol), gifted to Franco in his capacity as the organization’s Honorary President, topped by a striking Ferrol flag executed in Gold with genuine Diamonds and Sapphires, in turn flanked by Gold coats of arms of the city of Ferrol and the Circle, dated 4 September 1975 (notably two months before Franco’s death), unmarked, measuring 23.5 cm (w) x 17.5 cm (l), a unique commemorative item from the closing period of Franco’s rule in extremely fine condition.
