A rare award plaque dedicated to Francisco Franco, constructed of a lacquered wooden base with a red felt reverse liner to mitigate surface scratching,t he obverse riveted with an elaborate silver plate presenting as a worn piece of parchment, featuring a carefully-engraved dedication expressing gratitude to Francisco Franco from the Federacion de Estudiantes Iberomericanos de Barceona (Federation of Ibero-American Students in Barcelona), flanked by the names of 21 Central and South American states contributing students for studies in Spain, topped by the organization’s raised logo, and dated July 1966, measuring 29 cm (x) 23 cm (h), with minor loss of finish to the wooden base, in near extremely fine condition.
