(Знак ордена Святого Станислава II степени). Instituted 7 May 1765; added to Russian honours system 1832. (c. 1910 issue). Constructed of Gold with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with each arm completing in ball finials and with each arm completing in semi-circular ribbed fans, the obverse with red enameled arms joined through the quadrants by Gold Romanov imperial eagles superimposed over the surface, with a central white enameled medallion bearing a hand-painted red monogram of Saint Stanislaus of Szczepanów, set within a circular green enameled laurel wreath, the reverse featuring an analogous and identical central medallion, the twelve o’clock arm stamped with an Imperial Russian coat of arms, the six o’clock arm stamped with a Russian Cyrillic hallmark of “АК” for Albert Keibel, the twelve o’clock arm featuring an integral loop with a suspension ring connecting to a period original full-length neck ribbon, the loop bearing a 56 zolotnik mark indicating 14k Gold construction, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing an embossed gilt Romanov imperial eagle, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and depressed and retractable medal bed, closing with a functional bronze snap button, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 90 mm (l) x 30 mm (h), with minor flecking visible to the enamels, an exquisite example in extremely fine condition.
