(Medalla Militar). Instituted in 1901. In silver, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 36.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, two star clasp affixed to its original ribbon, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Military Long Service Medal was instituted by decree of November 15, 1901, in three grades: I Class Gold Grade for Thirty Years' Service, II Class Silver Grade for Twenty Years' Service and III Class Bronze Grade for Ten Years' Service. Additional clasps of one, two and three stars were available.
