Instituted in 1868: multi-piece construction, in 18K Gold with red, white, green, blue and black enamels, weighing 9 grams, unmarked, measuring 36.7mm (w) x 37 mm (h), intact enamels, rosette affixed to its original ribbon.
3. Colonial Order of the Star of Italy, V Class Knight (Ordine coloniale della Stella d'Italia). Instituted in 1914, discontinued in 1943: multi-piece construction, in Gold with red, white and green enamels, weighing 7.8 grams inclusive of its ribbon, measuring 35.7 mm (w) x 36.5 mm (h), intact enamels, original ribbon.
4. Medal for Italian Unification, Type II with 1848-1918 (Medaglia a ricordo dell'Unita d'Italia). Instituted in 1865: in bronze, maker marked "MARIO NELLI INC." and engraver marked "C. RIVALTA MOD." on the obverse, marked "CBC" on the reverse, measuring 31.7 mm (w) x 37 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original ribbon.
5. Africa Campaigns Medal (Medaglia delle campagne d'Africa). Instituted in 1894: in bronze, engraver marled "SPERANZA" on the obverse, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 35.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original ribbon.
6. Italo-Turkish War Medal 1911-1912 (Medaglia commemorativa della guerra Italo-Turca). Instituted in 1912: in silver, engraver marked "L. GIORGI" on the obverse, measuring 32 mm (w) x 35.5 mm (h), dark patina, edge nicks, bruised, original ribbon.
7. War Merit Cross (Croce al merito di guerra). Instituted in 1918: in blackened bronze, engraver marked "F" on the reverse, measuring 38 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon.
8. Italian-Austrian War Medal 1915-1918 with Four Clasps - 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918 (Medaglia commemorativa della guerra Italo-Austriaca). Instituted in 1919: in bronze, engraver marked "S. CANEVARI" on the obverse, measuring 32.5 mm (w) x 38 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, four clasps affixed to its original ribbon.
9. First War Victory Medal (Medaglia commemorativa della vittoria). Instituted in 1920: in bronze, engraver marked "G. Orsolini MOD." and maker marked "S. JOHNSON. MILANO" on the obverse, engraver marked "G. Villa. Inc." on the reverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 41.8 mm (h), original ribbon.
10. Order of the Crown of Italy, IV Class Officer, Miniature (Ordine della Corona d'Italia). Instituted in 1868: in silver with blue, white, red and black enamels, measuring 15 mm in diameter, rosette on its original ribbon.
11. War Merit Cross, Miniature (Croce al merito di guerra). Instituted in 1918: in bronze, measuring 18.5 mm (w) x 22.8 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon. Near extremely fine. In their hardshelled presentation case, brown cracked-leather-look cloth exterior, wooden-framed, inside lid lined in navy blue satin and padded, medal bed in navy blue felt with recessed areas for ten awards, the Order of the Crown of Italy, III Class Commander originally pinned in place to the inside lid, dual-hinged, dual-clasp closure, measuring 237 mm (w) x 180 mm (h) x 25 mm (d), light corner wear evident on the exterior, case also near extremely fine.
