A Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure; 2nd Class Breast Star with Case ;  Multi-piece construction, silver gilt and enamels, Gold centrepiece ring, with sixteen red glass cabochons, 75 mm, triple prong attachment on the reverse, chipping evident on four cabochons, crazing and chipping evident on the white enamelled rays, very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, black lacquer finish, octagonal, gilt characters on the lid, soiled recessed and voided medal bed, small chip in the finish on the bottom edge, case better than very fine.(C:41)
