A lot of three patriotic badges, including a Gau Essen Badge, constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a sword with a swastika depressed into its hilt, overlaying crossed hammer bearing dates “1925-1935”, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked “HOFFSTÄTTER, BONN”, measuring 31 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), with moderate loss of finish evident, in very fine condition; a 1933 NSDAP Labour Day badge, constructed of bronze, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 23 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident, in very fine condition, and; a 1935 Saar reunification badge, constructed of bronze, diagonal pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 35 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in very fine condition.
