Three-piece construction, in gilt cupro-nickel with red, white and blue enamels, centrepiece in gilt and enamels and illustrating a red enamelled cross, the centrepiece ring in blue enamels and inscribed "CAO" (Српска Aутономна Oбласт = Serbian Autonomous Oblast) above and "KRAJИНА" (Country) below, fronting a red, white and blue enamelled cross, mounted to a gilt base with fourteen large emanating rays, with a smaller emanating ray between each, measuring 63.8 mm (w) x 64.2 mm (h), maker marked "GOSI BEOGRAD" (Gosi of Belgrade) on the screwback, intact enamels, near mint.
