Germany, NSDAP. A Long Service Decoration, II Class for 15 Years, with Case

(Dienstauszeichnung der NSDAP, II. Klasse für 15 Jahre mit Etui). Instituted 2 April 1939. (1939- 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with device, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed and silvered German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed and silvered inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.87 mm (W) x 47.20 mm (h), weighing 39.6 grams (inclusive if ribbon and device), with minor flecking of enamels evident, in extremely fine condition, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of two pieces of card stock with a faux blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a beige felt liner, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 95 mm (l) x 18 mm (h), with minor exterior material fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition.
