Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Officer’s Sleeve Eagle, Second Pattern

(Waffen-SS Ärmeladler für Offiziere). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a hand- embroidered silver aluminum wire SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a black paper liner and a fully-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/64” and a secondary code of “032781”, measuring 92 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
