Germany, SS. A Rare SS-Totenkopf-Standarte 3 “Thüringen” Officer’s Cuff Title

(3. SS-Totenkopf-Standarte “Thüringen” Ärmelband für Offiziere). Constructed of black rayon, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire tresses, bearing a central machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire inscription of “THÜRINGEN” in Gothic script, with a black rayon protective liner stitched into place behind the inscription, retaining a partially intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code which appears to read “A4/426” and is secured in place with a pin, measuring 26 mm (w) x 485 mm (l), a scarce cuff title in near extremely fine condition.
