Germany, RAD. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

(Reichsarbeitsdienst Insignien). A mixed lot of three Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) insignia, including:

1. A cap badge, constructed of magnetic metal with multi-coloured paint, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, marked with a Reichsleitung der Abreitsdienstes logo, measuring 45 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), with minor chipping to the paint evident, in extremely fine condition.

2. A field cap insignia, constructed of olive-drab wool, the obverse bearing a machine- embroidered multi-coloured RAD insignia, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Freiwilliger Arbeitsdienst (Voluntary Labour Service/FAW) membership badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
