Germany, NSDAP. A Pair of Long Service Decorations, with Ribbon Bars

(Dienstauszeichnungen der NSDAP mit Bandschnallen). A pair of NSDAP long service decorations, including:

1. A Long Service Decoration, III Class for 10 Years, constructed of bronze, consisting of a Cross Pattée with arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a wreathed German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.96 mm (W) x 47.02 mm (h), weighing 32.4 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Long Service Decoration, II Class for 15 Years, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with device, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed and silvered German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed and silvered inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.36 mm (W) x 45.74 mm (h), weighing 41.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with slight flecking and loss of finish evident to the enamel and metal, respectively, in extremely fine condition.

3. A matching ribbon bar, featuring both decorations set onto a 30 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
