Germany, BDM. A Rare Ost Generalgouvernement District Sleeve Insignia

(Bund Deutscher Mädel Ärmelabzeichen). Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey inscription of “OST GENERALGOUVERNEMENT” (General Government/occupied Poland), in Gothic script, set within a triangular border of identical construction, the reverse retaining a fully-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/302” and a secondary code of “084249”, measuring 98 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
