Germany, NSDAP. A Golden Party Badge, Small Version by Deschler & Sohn

(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP). Constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, with a central white enameled disc bearing a black mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing a silvered inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHES D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, engraved with an NSDAP membership number of “67290” for an unidentified recipient, maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 23.78 mm in diameter, weighing 7.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
