Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of seven badges, including:

1. An NS-Frauenschaft membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/72” for Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart, measuring 26 mm (w) x 27 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A Danzig Reich Air Protection League (RLB) membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 23 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

3. An RLB supporter’s badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 29 mm (w) x 17 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.

4. A Reich Union of Large Families District Leader’s badge, constructed of bronze with multi- coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 25 mm in diameter, with some loss of finish evident to the obverse, in very fine condition.

5. A Reich Union of Large Families membership badge, constructed of bronze with multi- coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked with the logo of an unidentified manufacturer, measuring 26 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

5. A 1937 Day of German Art commemorative badge, constructed of gilded bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 34 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

6. A National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) cap insignia, constructed of black rayon with machine- embroidered silver aluminum wire, unmarked, measuring 49 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), in uniform- removed and extremely fine condition.
