(Insignien). A mixed lot of eight insignia, including:
1. An NSDAP Gau-Level Bereichsleiter collar tab, constructed of red wool, trimmed with Burgundy-red piping, and pinned with a gilded NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above dual oak leaves and acorns, the reverse retaining an intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a maker’s code of “A4/21” and a secondary code of “194904”, measuring 46 mm (w) x 68 mm (l), with some soiling and material fatigue evident, in very fine condition.
2. A Luftwaffe General’s metal breast eagle, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse with two threaded lugs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 85 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), with minor loss of finish evident and with possible loss of reverse hardware, in very fine condition.
3. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) district duty station insignia, constructed of an olive-drab cotton/rayon blend, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire RAD insignia, above a number III in Roman numerals and set within a broder of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 78 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
4. An NSDAP Political Leader’s uniform button, constructed of silvered zink, the reverse retaining a lug, unmarked, measuring 21 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
5. A political organization uniform button, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the reverse retaining a lug, unmarked, measuring 20 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
6. A rare Swiss NSDAP membership badge, constructed of bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a central yellow octagon, overlaid by a black mobile swastika, surrounded by a black enameled border bearing an inscription of “NAT. SOZ. EIDGENOSSEN / B.S.G.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST CONFEDERATE / ASSOCIATION OF SWISS IN GREATER GERMANY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, marked with A Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/13” for L. Christian Lauer, Nuremberg, measruing 20 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
7. A ribbon bar featuring seven decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross, a 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross, an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, an Air Defence Medal, an Austrian War Commemorative Medal, a Hungarian War Commemorative Medal, and a Bulgarian War Commemorative Medal, set on a 92 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
8. A ribbon bar featuring two decorations, including a Sudetenland Medal and a West Wall Medal, set on a 40 mm-long non-magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and white rayon reverse liner, in near extremely fine condition.
