Three-piece construction, in silvered and gilt cupro-nickel with red, white and blue enamels, centrepiece illustrating a Serbian white cross framed by four "fire striker" shapes (originally four Greek letters beta), inscribed "СРБСКИ" (Serbian) above and "ВИТЕЗ" (Knight) below, fronting an enamelled cross, mounted to an eight-pointed star base with a large enamelled blue circular disk in the centre, measuring 65 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), maker marked "GOSI BEOGRAD" (Gosi of Belgrade) on the screwback, intact enamels, original tri-colour ribbon, near mint.
