Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a finely-engraved cursive script dedication to Francisco Franco in recognition of his legacy in founding the Feria de Zaragoza (The National Trade Fair of Zaragoza), established under the aegis of Franco in 1941, which has successfully propelled economic development in Zaragoza and the surrounding region under Franco’s supervision, issued in the eponymous city on 20 December 1966, situated above the finely-reproduced signatures of the organization’s Executive Committee, presenting with stylized folded edges giving the impression of antiquarian parchment, marked along the lower edge with silver hallmarks indicating Spanish construction, affixed to a lacquered dark wooden base, the reverse bearing four silver rivets securing the plaque in place, with the remnants of the base of a swivel hinge which has been lost to time, retaining a maker’s label of “AGÜERAS JOYEROS, COSO, 33, ZARAGOZA”, measuring 52 cm (w) x 41.5 cm (h), with sporadic scratching visible to the wood, in near extremely fine condition.
