(Auszeichnungen). A mixed lot of First World War service decorations, including:

1. A medal bar featuring two decorations, including a Kyffhäuser Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse designer marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 30.90 mm (w) x 47.21 mm (h), weighing 18.8 grams, in very fine condition, and; a Bavarian King Ludwig Cross, constructed of a patinated zink alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of King Ludwig III, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “7. 1. 1916”, unmarked, measuring 15.92 mm (w) x 21.86 mm (h), weighing 16.8 grams, in very fine condition; both suspended from 72 mm-long magnetic metal core with a horizontal pinback, the reverse demonstrating the loss of its original liner and with some bending visible to the King Ludwig Cross fixture, in very fine condition.

2. A Gold Grade Wound Badge, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 39.23 mm (w) x 44.92 mm (h), weighing 9.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
