Germany, Heer. A Flak Badge, by Förster & Barth

(Heeres-Flak Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Förster & Barth, Pforzheim, measuring 44.56 mm (w) x 60.10 mm (h), weighing 29.0 grams, with loss of finish visible throughout, in very fine condition.
