Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Judicial Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of three judicial insignia, including:

1. An unusual official’s breast eagle, constructed of maroon wool, the obverse bearing a hand- embroidered gold bullion wire German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a partially-intact paper liner, measuring 95 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), with moderate material fatigue evident to the reverse, a rare example in near extremely fine condition.

2. A 1936 Leipzig German Lawyers Day commemorative badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “KLOTZ U. KIENAST” for the Munich-based firm, measuring 35 mm in diameter, with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.

3. A National Socialist Association of Legal Professionals membership stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse maker marked “KLOTZ U. KIENAST”, measuring 23 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
