Constructed of a golde-yellow wool base, the obverse bearing a late-Weimar era German coat of arms in the form of a machine-embroidered black eagle, with talons and beak highlighted in red-orange threading, superimposed over a gold bullion wire shield, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
