A mixed lot of four First World War Imperial German Navy commemorative campaign ribbons, including one constructed of blue rayon, featuring a finely-detailed black printed design commemorating the sinking of the Russian cruiser “Pallada” by U-26 on 11 October 1914, the former with the loss of all hands, measuring 64 mm (w) x 408 mm (l), in extremely fine condition; one constructed of cream-coloured rayon, featuring a finely-detailed black printed design commemorating U-9’s 22 September 1914 sinking of three British Cressy-class cruisers, an action which occurred in less than one hour and resulted in the loss of 1,459 British sailors, measuring 64 mm (w) x 390 mm (l), with minor age-appropriate discolouration evident, in near extremely fine condition; one constructed of pale blue rayon, featuring a finely-detailed black printed dedication to Vizeadmiral Maximilian von Spee and the 1 November 1914 Battle of Coronel, measuring 64 mm (w) x 395 mm (l), in extremely fine condition, and; one constructed of cream-coloured rayon, the obverse bearing a finely-detailed black printed general naval dedication, measuring 64 mm (w) x 405 mm (l), with minor material fatigue and discolouration evident, in near extremely fine condition.
