A General Service Medal with FENIAN RAID 1866 Clasp, in silver, full size, rim impressed Pte. J. Gibson, Greenwood I Co., worn on original ribbon with pin at top, dark patina, light wear, in very fine condition.

Footnote: Private Judson Gibson served with the 34th Battalion Greenwood Infantry Company during the Fenian Raids. The 34th Ontario Regiment formed in 1866 after the Battle of Ridgeway. This battalion also contributed to the 1870 Red River Expedition and the 1885 North West force. Gibson was still serving with the 34th in 1869.
