Germany, DAF. A Sports Shirt

(Deutsche Arbeitsfront Sporthemd). A well-preserved Deutsche Arbeitsfront (German Labour Front/DAF) sports shirt, constructed of white cotton. The shirt is sleeveless and features dual shoulder straps. Stitched onto the chest is an insignia consisting of a white cotton disc bearing a machine-embroidered black DAF insignia, measuring 9 cm in diamter. The interior of the collar features a label with a machine-embroidered black size mark of “44”. The shirt measures 33.5 cm (w) x 72 mm (l) when folded on a flat surface. Minor soiling consistent with period usage is evident, but the shirt remains in a near extremely fine condition.
