A mixed lot of Third Reich- and 1957-period awards to a Kriegsmarine sailor in U-Boat services, including a U-Boat War Badge, constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a U-Boat set horizontally across the badge over a hollow background, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “SCHWERIN, BERLIN”, measuring 48.30 mm (w) x 38.58 mm (h), weighing 23.8 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Marine Front Clasp, constructed of coppered bronze, the obverse consisting of a central oval medallion bearing a raised fouled anchor, flanked on each side by eight oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 79.68 mm (w) x 23.30 mm (h), weighing 24.6 grams, with some loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition; a 1957 version U-Boat War Badge, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 48.77 mm (w) x 37.48 mm (h), weighing 25.2 grams, in extremely fine condition; a stick pin featuring five awards in 1957 version, including the 1939 Iron Cross in both II and I Classes, the U-Boat War Badge, the High Seas Fleet Badge, and the Marine Front Clasp, constructed of multi-finished bronze, unmarked, measuring 29 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a stick pin featuring a 1957 version U-Boat War Badge, cosntructed of gilded bronze, unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 12 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Kriegsmarine white uniform Signals personnel sleeve badge, constructed of white cotton, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered blue insignia, unmarked, measuring 60 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
