(Wisam Al Ordani Istiklal). Instituted in 1921. A Grand Cross set in silver, the badge featuring a 10 armed star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse medallion presents a white enamelled five point star with red enamelled center with inscription, between quadrants sits a gilt wreath crossing at 12 o’clock, the reverse is plain, the badge is suspended from a silver gilt laurel wreath with laurel bar across the center, measures 59.9mm (w) x 91.9mm (h – inclusive of wreath suspension), weighs 49.0 grams, worn on full length sash, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition. The Grand Cross Breast Star, featuring a 10-armed star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse medallion presents a white enamelled five point star with red enamelled center with inscription, between quadrants sits a gilt wreath crossing at 12 o’clock, the reverse features a single vertical pin, measures 86.7mm (w) x 91.2mm (h), weighs 97.9 grams, enamels intact but slightly discoloured on white star, remains in near extremely fine condition.

Accompanied by two Rosettes, measuring 9.5 mm in diameter each, one with a push pin attachment, in addition to a roll of ribbon, and a miniature Grand Cross with rosette on ribbon, in their hardshelled case of issue, carmine red leather-like exterior, marked with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan coat-of-arms in gold-coloured ink on the lid, maker marked "HUGUENIN SWITZERLAND" on the white satin inside lid, medal bed in light beige felt with recessed areas for the badge, sash, breast star, rosette and miniature, one hinge broken and therefore lid opens on an angle, case also near extremely fine.
