Russia, Imperial. A 1903 Table Medal for Diligence and Art from the Ministry of Finance

Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Tsar Nicholas II, circumscribed by name and title in Russian Cyrillic, the reverse bearing a wreathed dedication to “Diligence and Art” from the Ministry of Finance, the edge bearing an engraved inscription indicating that the medal was issued for the International Scientific and Industrial Exhibition in St. Petersburg in 1903, unmarked, measuring 50.94 mm in diameter, with moderate loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
