Four-piece construction, illustrating the monogram of Tsar Boris III (reign: 1918-1943) in bronze with red, green and white enamels at the top and the Military Order of Bravery in bronze with red and white enamels at the bottom, mounted to a silver base illustrating a helmeted soldier framed by an open-ended wreath of oak leaves, with a red enamelled plate showing through in the voided areas, marked in cyrillic type with the Straknil Miloshev of Sofia maker mark and coded "3-23-89" on the magnetic metal support plate and the magnetic metal screwback, measuring 39 mm (w) x 54.8 mm (h), intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine.
