(Auszeichnungen). A mixed lot of three decorations, including:

1. A Baden Silver Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), the obverse engraver marked “RM” for Rudolf Mayer, measuring 38.16 mm in diameter, weighing 29.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Bavarian King Ludwig Cross, constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an elongated Cross Pattée,the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of King Ludwig III, the reverse bearing a central raised date of “7. 1. 1916” over a Bavarian checkered motif, unmarked, measuring 39.82 mm (w) x 45.68 mm (h), weighing 22.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.

3. A Flanders Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 40.40 mm (w) x 45.02 mm (h), weighing 23.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
