(Sudetenland-Medaille mit Etui). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.03 mm in diameter, weighing 15.1 grams (inclsuive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt embossed German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted maroon felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), with minor material fatigue visible to the case, in near extremely fine condition.
