(Waffen-SS Gürtel mit Schnalle). A Waffen-SS Enlisted personnel belt and buckle, the former constructed of pressed black leather, with one end stitched into a loop which retains a magnetic metal clip, the opposite end retaining a hidden leather tongue perforated with seven sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, unmarked, measuring 4 cm (w) x 84 cm (l), demonstrating material fatigue consistent with age and wartime use, in very fine condition; the latter constructed of nickel-plated magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of a unmarked wartime production by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with minor loss of plating and some oxidation evident, in better than very fine condition.
