Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, by Rodo

(Waffen-SS Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the reverse maker marked “RODO”, demonstrating near-total loss of paint in addition to minor oxidation, in very fine condition.
