(4. Flak-Division Alpine-Lehrgänge Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular disc bearing raised mountains, set within a circular ring bearing an inscription of “ALPINE-LEHRGÄNGE DER 4. FLAKDIVISION SCHRÖCKEN” (“ALPINE TRAINING COURSE OF THE 4TH FLAK DIVISION IN SCHRÖCKEN”), overlaid by crossed skies and an ice axe bearing a central edelweiss, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 33 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
