Rwanda. A National Order of Rwanda, Grand Cross Breast Star, by Arthus Bertrand

In silver, an eight point star with smooth rays, the central medallion is superimposed on the obverse, featuring a red enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, the medallion features the coat of arms of Rwanda (1962-2001), with a white enamelled ring inscribed ORDRE NATIONAL DU RWANDA, the reverse presents a single vertical pin assembly, marked on end of pin with A B & CIE denoting Arthus Bertrand Manufacture, measures 84.5mm (w) x 84.7mm (h), weighs 82.6 grams, cracks visible in red enamels, remains in very fine condition.
