Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Honour Crosses of the German Mother

(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A lot of five Honour Crosses of the German Mother, consisting of one finished and five unfinished examples, all constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and on loops for suspension, all consisting of Latin Crosses with their arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse of each with blue and white enameled arms, the finished cross bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of each bearing an etched signature of the Führer and institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938”, all unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), all demonstrating some flecking and cracking to the enamels, with a chip to the six o’clock arm of the finish cross, in overall very fine condition.
