(Luftwaffe Erinnerungsplakette). Constructed of a bronzed tin alloy, the obverse bearing a depiction of a Wehrmacht halftrack topped by an inscription of “KRIEGS-WEIHNACHTEN 1942” (“CHRISTMAS AT WAR 1942”), the reverse bearing an inscription of “1. KOMP. KRAFTFAHR-AUSBILDUNGSSTELLE DER FLIEGERTRUPPE NR. 6 NEUBIBERG” (“1ST COMPANY, MOTORIZED TROOPS TRAINING CENTRE NR. 6, NEUBIBERG”), measuring 76 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
