(Lapplandschild Verleihungsurkunde). A rare award document for a Lapland Shield, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to “OBGFR. JOHANN SCHMIDEDER” of the regimental staff company of Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 143 (6. Gebirgs-Division), dated 20 July 1945 and certified by the handwritten signature of an unidentified Oberstleutnant, measuring 15 cm (w) x 20.5 cm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
