(Ordre royal du Cambodge. គ្រឿងឥស្សរិយយសព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា). Instituted February 8, 1864 by King Norodom I. In silver gilt, an eight point star with faceted rays, the obverse medallion in gold with blue and red enamels, surmounted by a crown with delicate enamel details, the reverse is plain, measures 48.0mm (w) x 71.3mm (h – inclusive of crown), weighs 30.1 grams (including ribbon), worn on a French ribbon with a large rosette, marked on the ring with a French Owl hallmark denoting gold manufacture imported to France from a country without a trading contract since 1893, and a French swan hallmark denoting silver manufacture imported to France from a country without a trading contract since 1893, dark patina, enamels intact, discolouration and wear to ribbon, in otherwise extremely fine condition.
