Korea Medal (SA-1080 I. CLARK); United Nations Service Medal for Korea (SA-1080 I. Naming is mechanical engraved on the KM and UNSMK, engraved on the CFD, the UNEFM is un-named as issued. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, edge nicks, contact marks, spotting on the two bronze medals, original ribbons, better than fine. Accompanied by copies of his Service Records covering the period 1957 to 1970 and minus the records for the Korean War.
Footnote: Ivan Peter Clark was born on May 7, 1932. He is acknowledged as having served during the Korean War of 1950-1953, as evidenced by the awarding of the Korea Medal and the United Nations Service Medal for Korea. His records supplied begin with him as a Private with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps in December 1957. Through his career with the RCOC, he would be posted to multiple locations in Canada, including: London, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; Kingston, Ontario; and Edmonton, Alberta; among others. He is credited with having served in Continental Europe from November 1959 to August 1962, as well as being part of the United Nations Emergency Force in the Middle East, from December 1964 to December 1965, earning him United Nations Emergency Force Medal. Clark was also awarded the Canadian Forces' Decoration in the rank of Corporal, on March 6, 1967. His records begin with December 1957 and cease as of January 1971.
