Germany, Third Reich. A Signed and Framed Portrait of AH

(AH Porträt mit Unterschrift und Rahmen). A signed portrait of AH, consisting of a widely-reproduced official studio portrait of the Führer in a Political Leader’s uniform topped by a greatcoat, with the 1914 Iron Cross I Class and Black Grade Wound Badge also visible, the lower half of the image overlaid by a handwritten dedication to an old comrade, situated above a signature, the reverse bearing a Hoffmann studio stamp, concealed within a period original silver frame with an intact glass face, the reverse with a textured black vinyl cover set on a swivel hinge, retaining a functional stand, the lower edge stamped with a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, a silver content number of “835”, and an unidentified hallmark, measuring 22 cm (w) x 28 cm (h), a superb dedicated example in extremely fine condition.
