Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1942 Afrika Korps Trench Art Ring

(Afrikakorps Grabenarbeit Ring). Constructed of a silvered non-magnetic metal alloy, the exterior consisting of a central oval disc bearing a hand-etched Afrika Korps insignia in the form of a palm tree overlaid by a mobile swastika, above an inscription of “AFRIKA”, flanked by an etched dedication of “TUNIS 1942”, unmarked, corresponding to a size 11, with minor tarnishing evident, in near extremely fine condition.
