Constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a swastika with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing central wreathed double Sig runes, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS”), the twelve o’clock arm topped by an integral ring with a teardrop suspension loop retaining a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 38.40 mm (w) x 42.78 mm (h), weighing 25.5 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the lid bearing silvered double Sig runes, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and maroon velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), with minor tarnishing visible to the decoration, in overall near extremely fine condition.
