Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number “75” against a black background, around a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, in turn situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 48.35 mm (w) x 55.50 mm (h), weighing 41.2 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout in addition to minor oxidation, a scarce decoration in very fine condition.
