Germany, Wehrmacht. A Long Service Medal Bar

(Ordenschnalle). A medal bar featuring two decorations, including:

1. A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service Decoration, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon pinned with a Heer/Kriegsmarine device, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse bearing a central wreathed number “4”, unmarked, measuring 30.23 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

2. A Wehrmacht 12-Year Long Service Decoration, constructed of gilded magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon pinned with a Heer/Kriegsmarine device, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse bearing a central wreathed number “12”, unmarked, measuring 30.06 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

Both suspended from a 70 mm-long non-magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback and black wool reverse liner, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
