Germany, RAD. A Rare Streifendienst Gorget

(Reichsarbeitsdienst Ringkragen). Constructed of polished aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika, overlaid by a Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) insignia, topped by a stylized banner bearing an inscription of “STREIFENDIENST” (“PATROL SERVICE”) on a pebbled background, with rivets visible at both of the top corner, the reverse retaining a fully-intact field-grey wool liner, with both top corners culminating in integral loops which retaining an original full-length multi-link aluminum chain, unmarked, measuring 18 cm (w) x 12 cm (h), a scarce example in extremely fine condition.
