In silver, a white enamelled cross pattee with a green enamelled wreath superimposed across the 3 and 9 o’clock arms, crossed swords pierce the central medallion, the obverse medallion presents a crowned cypher on a blue enamel field, surrounded by a red ring inscribed EIN GOTT EIN RECHT EINE WAHRHEIT (ONE GOD, ONE RIGHTEOUSNESS, ONE TRUTH), the reverse medallion presents a finely detailed Oldenburg Coat of Arms, the arms bearing clockwise gilt dates of “17. JAN. 1755”, “21. MAI 1822”, “21. NOV. 1838”, and “6. JULI 1785”, worn a split ring, maker marked B KNAUER, measures 40.1mm (w) x 42.7mm (h), weighs 23.1 grams, worn on an original ribbon of the order, a unique decoration that was never awarded, enamels intact, remains in extremely fine condition.
