(Suomen Leijonan ritarikunta). Instituted September 11 1942. In silver gilt, a white enamel cross, the obverse medallion featuring a rampant lion on a red enamel field, reverse plain, measures 49.88mm (w) x 54.48mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), weighs 42.2 grams (including ribbon), enamels intact, light gilt wear, in extremely fine condition.
