Commander cross in silvered zinc with raw edges, French factory made, 46.5 mm x 53 mm, integral ring suspension; and yellow wax seal with the reverse image of the centrepiece of the breast star, 25.5 mm x 27.5 mm. Extremely fine. Accompanied by four papers: 1. a drawing of the Commander of the Order, illustrating the reverse of the order, with a smaller illustration below of the obverse centrepiece, both in pencil, with French handwritten text in black ink above, on white paper, 117 mm x 177 mm; 2. a drawing of the Breast Star in black ink, on watermarked white paper, 165 mm x 207 mm; 3. a letter with multiple lines of text describing the Commander of the Order of St. Vladimir, inscribed in French handwritten black ink, 172 mm x 230 mm; and an envelope inscribed in French handwritten black ink "Russia / St. Vladimir" on one side and "Constitution of Spain" on the other, on a gray blotter textured stock, 170 mm x 250 mm.
